Have you ever had that funny feeling that something just wasn’t right? Or walked into a care facility and thought, things look good but what am I missing? Or I’m afraid that mom’s not telling me everything I need to know?  In some circles that’s called intuition, others, gut instinct, and some even call it ESP. Some of us may know that’s the part of our human makeup that keeps us safe, yet many of us don’t know how to use that “feeling” or instinct to keep our parents, family, and ourselves safe.  Listen to this discussion, with our guest, Colonel Brian Searcy, who describes what to listen for in your guts, how to hone that skill, and what we can do to sharpen that natural born instinct that can mean a better road ahead for those we know and love. It’s called understanding about and working with situational awareness.

Colonel Searcy, the founder of The Paratus Group, was a decorated combat veteran and had a senior leadership career in the USAF. He now teaches how to be more aware of potential threats that may erupt around us, whether from being in your own home, in a care facility, doctor’s office, hospital, or just sitting at a restaurant.
